Newcastle: Fabian Schär set to leave

Swiss defender Fabian Schär, 33, could be entering his final months at Newcastle. According to Sky, the player is unlikely to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

Newcastle are reportedly considering letting him leave as early as this winter. One of the options on the table is a return to the Bundesliga—a league Schär knows well from earlier in his career.
