Neymar is in talks with European clubs

Just six months after his return to Brazil, Neymar could already be heading back to Europe. His father has confirmed that discussions are underway with several clubs competing in the UEFA Champions League.

Following a disappointing spell at Al Hilal, marked by injuries and only seven appearances, the Brazilian mutually terminated his contract with the Saudi club before returning to Santos, his boyhood team. That move seemed temporary, aimed at regaining form ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Now, that plan could be coming to fruition. In an interview with L’Équipe, Neymar Sr. revealed that advanced talks are ongoing:

This week, we are going to Miami to talk with clubs. We need to listen to them and decide what comes next.

He specified that some of these clubs are playing in the Champions League, which confirms the player's desire to return to the highest level.

They know he can still have a great season. The green light is on.

While the Brazilian market remains an option, Neymar’s camp now seems focused on one final European adventure, just months before what could be the Brazilian icon’s last World Cup.
