Nigeria: Fulham have not decided to buy Chukwueze from Milan!
Fulham have decided against making Samuel Chukwueze’s loan move permanent. According to Tuttomercato, the London club have opted not to trigger the €24 million purchase option for the Nigerian winger, who spent the season on loan from AC Milan.
The 27‑year‑old will now return to San Siro. Despite showing flashes of quality during his Premier League stint, Fulham’s hierarchy have deemed the investment too steep for a player who contributed three goals and four assists across all competitions — respectable numbers, but not enough to convince the Cottagers to break the bank.
Chukwueze remains under contract with Milan, with Transfermarkt currently valuing him at €15 million. He earns an annual salary of €7.19 million. His future could now become one of the talking points of the summer window, as Milan look to either reintegrate him or find another buyer. For now, the winger’s next chapter remains unwritten, but a return to Italy seems the most likely starting point.
