Official: Falaye Sacko has signed in Azerbaijan

Malian international Falaye Sacko has officially left Montpellier to sign in Azerbaijan this summer.

Arriving in Hérault in the summer of 2023 after an impressive six-month spell at ASSE, Falaye Sacko couldn't prevent his team's downfall last season, as they were relegated to Ligue 2. After 55 appearances in Montpellier colors, the Malian defender has now packed his bags for Azerbaijan.

This Sunday, the Malian international signed a two-year contract, with an additional year as an option, with Azerbaijani side Neftçi PFK, who finished 6th in the last championship. With a year left on his contract, MHSC released him.
