Álvaro Djaló, the winger of Guinean descent, has officially joined Al-Gharafa in Qatar on a season-long loan deal.

This departure was initiated by the Athletic Club management, despite the player's reluctance, as he wished to remain in Europe. Signed last summer for around 15 million euros, Álvaro Djaló (25) made a strong start before seeing his playing time decrease. Fast and versatile on both flanks, he hopes to regain his rhythm and visibility in the Middle East.

No mandatory purchase option is included in the loan, as Athletic wants to keep control over the player's future and assess his performance before making a final decision.
