OM closes the door on this young Congolese player

Rudy Nzingoula Matondo will not be wearing the colors of Olympique de Marseille. According to information from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the profile of the young midfielder from AJ Auxerre never truly convinced the Marseille leaders.

Having had a decent season with the Auxerre U19s, Rudy Nzingoula Matondo played 25 matches, scored 2 goals, and provided one assist. However, his statistics, as well as his impact on the game, remain insufficient to attract a club of OM's stature.

At 17 years old, this midfielder of Congolese origin still has significant room for improvement. Nevertheless, Marseille today prefers to focus its search on more experienced profiles or young talents already accustomed to the demands of top-level competition.
