OM: "I endured a year of torture," says Chancel Mbemba

In a recent interview, Chancel Mbemba reflected on his darkest days at Olympique de Marseille.

During the 2024-2025 season, central defender Chancel Mbemba was dropped from the OM squad. But since the summer, the Congolese international has revived his career in Lille's colors. Speaking to Canal+ this Sunday, the DR Congo Leopards captain opened up about the end of his story with the Marseille club.

"Why did I fall out with OM? My lawyer knows, but for me, it's all about football. I endured a year of torture in the press. It was mental torture. But I don't know... I just don't know," Mbemba admitted. As a reminder, Mbemba has filed a complaint against OM and president Pablo Longoria for psychological harassment.
