Paris keen to retain former Orlando Pirates star
Paris FC are reportedly keen on retaining former Orlando Pirates midfielder Marshal Munetsi on a permanent deal ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Zimbabwe international signed for the French Ligue 1 outfit on a six-month loan deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers this year in January.
Munetsi fell out of favour at Molineux upon the arrival of Rob Edwards, who was appointed in November 2025, and was tasked with saving the team from relegation.
Wolves, however, were ultimately relegated to the English Championship after a bottom-placed finish with 20 points accumulated from 38 matches.
Meanwhile, Paris finished in 11th place in Ligue 1 - this after more than 15 years away from the topflight as they gained promotion by winning the 2024/25 second-tier title.
Munetsi was at the forefront of the respectable finish, chipping in with four goals and two assists in 15 matches in the league.
The Parisians are looking to build on the momentum, and are said to have the 29-year-old utility player high on their transfer shortlist.
English Premier League side Nottingham Forest are also interested in the services of Munetsi, who is still contracted to Wolves until June 2028.
With Wolves' relegation all but confirmed, it remains to be seen where the player will be plying his trade next season, with teams eyeing a cut-price deal.
