Pedro Rodríguez will leave Lazio at the end of the season

It's official: Pedro Rodríguez has announced he will leave Lazio at the end of the season. The 38-year-old Spanish winger will bring his Italian adventure to a close after six years in the country, including five seasons with Lazio.

Since arriving from AS Roma, Pedro has won a special place in the hearts of the fans. In 185 appearances, he has scored 34 goals and provided 18 assists. In comments reported by Fabrizio Romano, he stated:

I want us to qualify for European competitions. That would be the perfect moment to leave.

Pedro's departure doesn't necessarily mean the end of his playing career. The former FC Barcelona and Chelsea player could be looking for a new challenge—perhaps in MLS or Saudi Arabia. Pedro has won it all in his career: World Cup, European Championship, Champions League, La Liga, and Premier League. Now, he wants to finish his chapter at Lazio on a high before deciding what's next.
