Percy Tau, a return to Egypt in the works?

Having left Cairo last January to join Qatar SC, Percy Tau might already be making a return journey. The former Al Ahly striker has reportedly been offered to Zamalek, according to journalist Amir Hisham on Al-Nahar TV.

Since his arrival in Qatar, the South African international has shown he hasn't lost his offensive flair. In eight league appearances, he has provided four assists. A notable performance despite his club's collective struggles. Zamalek, in a phase of rebuilding and searching for experienced profiles to bolster their attack, is keeping an eye on Percy Tau. The 30-year-old winger, who made a significant impact while wearing the Al Ahly jersey, knows Egyptian football well and could be a valuable addition.

But while the idea is appealing, the Egyptian club's management remains cautious. The player is certainly admired, but the operation must fit into a clear sporting and financial logic. Tau, for his part, would not be opposed to this comeback. Stay tuned.
