According to Relivo journalist Matteo Moretto, Premier League club has officially begun talks with Xavi regarding potential managerial role for next season, Moretto refrained from revealing the club’s identity, stating “If negotiations progress in the coming days, I'll disclose the name”

Reports previously linked Xavi to Manchester United as replacement for Erik ten Hag but he declined to take over midseason. Instead, the Red Devils appointed Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP.
