Premier League: Liverpool falls at Fulham!
Since their elimination against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool has struggled to find their rhythm. This Sunday, the Reds suffered another worrying defeat on Fulham's turf (2-3), during the 31st matchday of the Premier League.
Everything started well for Arne Slot's men. In the 14th minute, Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring with a powerful strike from over 20 meters, nestling into the top corner.
A stunning goal that promised a controlled afternoon.
The leaders completely crumbled!
However, the rest was quite different. Within a quarter of an hour, the league leaders crumbled: Ryan Sessegnon first leveled the score (23rd), before Nigerian winger Alex Iwobi put the hosts ahead (32nd).
A few minutes later, Rodrigo Muniz scored a third goal with a classy sequence against Van Dijk (37th).
Despite a display of pride in the second half, notably with a goal from Luis Diaz (72nd) and an Elliott shot hitting the bar, the red armada couldn't turn the tide.
With seven matches remaining, Mohamed Salah and his teammates still hold a nine-point lead over Arsenal, who were held by Everton (1-1).
