Premier League: Manchester City falls again at Nottingham!

Manchester City once again let crucial points slip away in the race for the UEFA Champions League. Away at Nottingham Forest, Pep Guardiola's men were stunned (1-0) this Saturday during the 28th round of the Premier League, further jeopardizing their hopes of qualifying for the UCL.

In a fiercely contested match, clear chances were few and far between in the first half, with both teams engaging in an intense midfield battle.

But just as City seemed poised to accelerate towards the end, Nottingham struck. In the 83rd minute, Morgan Gibbs-White perfectly set up Callum Hudson-Odoi on the right wing. The latter, taking advantage of lax marking, calmly entered the box before slotting a low shot past Ederson at the near post.

The Manchester squad tried to respond in stoppage time. JΓ©rΓ©my Doku and Mateo Kovacic had two consecutive chances from a corner (90+2), but the local defense held firm.

Nottingham thus retains its third place with a four-point lead over City, now under threat from Chelsea, who face Leicester this Sunday.
