Salzburg's Red Bull Arena (Austria) will host the first major showdown of the 2026-2027 European season this Tuesday night, featuring the UEFA Super Cup final between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa.

Fresh off their Champions League triumph, Luis Enrique's PSG will be aiming to clinch another continental trophy against Aston Villa, the recent Europa League winners under Unai Emery.

The two clubs have only faced each other twice before. Paris Saint-Germain took the first leg (3-1), before the English side struck back with a 3-2 victory in the return match.

On the officiating front, UEFA has appointed Somali referee Omar Artan to take charge of the match. He will be assisted by Liban Ahmed from Djibouti and Stephen Yiembe from Kenya, while Italian Marco Di Bello will serve as the video assistant referee (VAR).
