According to Foot Mercato, the legal saga between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé is now history. The capital club has finally paid nearly €61 million in outstanding wages and bonuses to its former superstar. This sum brings closure to a highly publicized dispute and highlights the massive financial operation Paris undertook to keep their prodigy in 2022.

Staggering figures

• A €180m transfer
• Colossal €110m signing bonus
• Loyalty bonus of €60m
• Salary of around €70m per year
• Monthly ethics bonus of €500,000

Beyond these astronomical sums, Mbappé’s sporting legacy remains immense. Between 2017 and 2024, the French striker played 308 matches in Parisian colors, scoring 256 goals and providing 108 assists. The Ligue 1 top scorer six times between 2019 and 2024 and the league’s top provider in 2022 with 17 assists, he left PSG having etched an unprecedented statistical legacy in the club’s history.
