Paris Saint-Germain & Bayern Munich have confirmed their starting lineups for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Tuesday 28 April 28 at the Parc des Princes.

PSG go without a fixed No.9

Luis Enrique has kept faith with his 4-3-3 structure but the key detail is the attack. Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé & Khvicha Kvaratskhelia give PSG pace, movement and unpredictability rather than a traditional centre-forward.

PSG XI

  • (GK) Matvey Safonov
  • (DEF) Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes
  • (MID) Warren Zaïre-Emery, João Neves, Vitinha
  • (ATT) Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Bayern trust pace around Kane

Bayern have gone with a 4-2-3-1, with Kane leading the line and Musiala operating behind him. The width comes from Díaz & Olise, two players capable of attacking the space behind PSG’s advanced full-backs.

Bayern XI

  • (GK) Manuel Neuer
  • (DEF) Josip Stanišić, Dayot Upamecano, Jonathan Tah, Alphonso Davies
  • (MID) Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlović
  • (AM) Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, Luis Díaz
  • (ATT) Harry Kane
