Pyramids FC unhappy with schedule for their next two matches

Pyramids FC expresses its discontent with what it considers an overly packed schedule, with two major matches scheduled just three days apart. On April 16, 2025, the Sky Blues are set to face Haras El Hedood in the Egyptian Premier League, followed by a trip to South Africa on April 19 for the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final against Orlando Pirates.​

The close proximity of the two matches raises concerns within the club. This succession of games leaves little time for recovery and preparation, which worries the technical staff.​ In response to this situation, the sporting director of Pyramids FC has indicated that the club might field a reshuffled squad against Haras El Hedood, calling upon young players to preserve the starters for the continental clash.

This decision, although strategic, could impact the team's performance in the league, where they currently hold the top spot with 44 points. To avoid jeopardizing their objectives in both the league and the Champions League, Pyramids FC might consider requesting a postponement of the match against Haras El Hedood.
