Qatar Stars League: Yacine Brahimi picks up a trophy

Riding a wave of impressive performances, Yacine Brahimi has just clinched an award in the Qatar Stars League.

The Algerian international Yacine Brahimi continues his stellar run in Qatar. Having left Portugal six years ago, the midfielder is thriving at Al-Gharafa, which he joined in 2022 after a stint with Al-Rayyan. With two goals and two assists in September, he now boasts three goals and three assists in six matchdays—each one as captain on the left flank.

These standout performances have rightfully earned him the Player of the Month award in the Qatar Stars League. Brahimi also features in the league’s September Team of the Month, lining up alongside the likes of Marco Verratti and Krzysztof Piątek. With Al-Gharafa, he currently sits third in the league standings.
