Rape: Achraf Hakimi responds to accusations
Achraf Hakimi

Achraf Hakimi breaks his silence in response to the rape accusations he has faced in recent days.

This Saturday, Achraf Hakimi sat down with Bertrand Latour for an in-depth interview broadcast on Canal+. The Moroccan international was questioned on several topics, from the possibility of reclaiming the Champions League to his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or. The subject of the rape accusation against him was also addressed, especially as the Nanterre prosecutor's office has recently called for a trial.

"I am calm. Being falsely accused is horrible, unfair. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I know the truth will come out. I have nothing to blame myself for, and those who know me are aware of that. I remain composed and focus on the important things in my life, namely family and football. As I said, the truth will come out," Hakimi stated.
