Real Madrid: Ancelotti on the way out, two names for interim role!

The future of Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid is seriously darkening. The crushing elimination against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League has significantly weakened his position, and a defeat against FC Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final this Saturday could hasten his departure.

Last night, the hard-fought victory against Athletic Club, thanks to a crucial goal by Federico Valverde, temporarily saved the Italian coach.

However, the Spanish press is adamant: a poor performance this weekend could cost him his job.

Raul and Solari expected for interim role

In the event of a dismissal, Real Madrid would consider a temporary solution to finish the season. While Xabi Alonso remains the priority for the future, his club, Bayer Leverkusen, does not intend to release him before the summer.

Thus, two well-known figures at the club are mentioned for the interim role: Raul, current coach of Castilla, and Santiago Solari, who briefly managed the merengue bench in 2018-2019 and remains part of the club's management.

The interim coach would be tasked with completing the season, especially during the Club World Cup in the United States.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti could quickly bounce back... with the Brazilian national team or in Italy's Serie A. Is Real about to turn a new page?
