Real Madrid imposes a new clause
Endrick's loan move to Olympique Lyonnais is now official. While the exact date of his debut remains to be determined, the arrival of the Brazilian striker in Ligue 1 is subject to a tightly regulated agreement by Real Madrid, who are keeping a close eye on the development of their young talent.
According to reports from Spanish radio Cadena COPE, the Madrid club demanded clear guarantees regarding the player's playing time.
"There will be a clause stating he must play 25 matches with Lyon. Real Madrid needs to ensure he will get playing time. Madrid is covering itself to make sure he will play," explained journalist Miguel Diaz.
If this condition is not met, OL could face a financial penalty, underlining Real Madrid's intention to maintain strict control over this loan, which is seen primarily as a crucial step in Endrick's sporting development.
