Renato Sanches set for another loan move
Nothing changes for Renato Sanches. The former Golden Boy is once again set to be loaned out by Paris Saint-Germain.
Two years after joining PSG from Lille for €15 million, the 28-year-old Portuguese midfielder is still struggling to make his mark in the French capital. After loan spells with Roma in 2023 (12 matches, 1 goal) and Benfica in 2024 (21 matches, 1 goal), the former Golden Boy has never quite recaptured the brilliance of his early years. Despite a €10 million purchase option, the Lisbon club ultimately decided not to retain him.
This time, Renato Sanches will try to revive his career in Greece. Panathinaikos are on the verge of finalising a one-year loan deal with PSG. The agreement is expected to be made official in the coming days.
