Ryan Mendes extends his contract in Turkey

Kocaelispor has announced the contract extension of Ryan Mendes. The Cape Verdean left winger, who joined last summer from Karagümrük, has signed for an additional season. He is now tied to the club until June 30, 2026.

At 35, Ryan Mendes continues to prove he remains a valuable asset. This season, he has scored 11 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions, actively contributing to Kocaelispor's ambitions. His ability to make a difference on the wing, along with his top-level experience, convinced the management to bet on his continuity.

By extending the Cape Verdean international's contract, the club aims to strengthen its offensive base and aim higher in the next campaign. It's a gamble on stability for Kocaelispor, who hopes to build on the solid foundations laid this season.
