Sambou Sissoko reaches a symbolic milestone with the club

He didn't make a fuss. But Sambou Sissoko has just reached a major milestone in his professional career. Against FK IMT Belgrade last Monday, the Malian defensive midfielder played his 100th official match with FK Čukarički, a club he joined in the summer of 2023.

In less than two years, Sissoko has established himself as a cornerstone of the Serbian team. His consistency, tactical discipline, and sense of anticipation make him one of the coaching staff's trusted players. Though not widely publicized, he is one of the club's most utilized players over the last two seasons.

To honor this loyalty and consistency, the Čukarički management presented him with a plaque after the match. A simple yet symbolic gesture to celebrate a player who, away from the spotlight, continues to perform essential work for the team's balance.
