Saudi Arabia: Al-Ahli targets Mohamed El-Shenawy!

Mohamed El-Shenawy could be on the verge of a major turning point in his career. According to several reports circulating online, the Egyptian international goalkeeper is currently in advanced negotiations with Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia, with a transfer looking likely in the near future.

The iconic Al Ahly Cairo shot-stopper is reportedly not opposed to this move, particularly as it would ease the transition and hand greater responsibility to his understudy, Shobeir, who is tipped to take over at the Egyptian club.

If a deal is struck, El-Shenawy would join a squad already brimming with stars, including Edouard Mendy, Riyad Mahrez, Franck Kessié, and Ivan Toney. His arrival would further boost the appeal of the Saudi project.
