Serhou Guirassy sets a unique mark in the Bundesliga

Thanks to his goal in Borussia Dortmund’s 1-0 win over 1. FC Köln, Serhou Guirassy has achieved a remarkable statistic in the Bundesliga.

The Guinean striker has now scored the opening goal for his team in a match for the sixth time this season. This puts him alone at the top of this category in the German championship. Even prolific scorers like Harry Kane haven’t matched this feat so far this season.

With this knack for breaking the deadlock, Serhou Guirassy is proving his decisive role in Dortmund’s successes. He now sits at 12 Bundesliga goals this season.
