Serie A: Yildiz shines in Tudor's debut at Juventus

Igor Tudor begins with a victory. In his first match on the Juventus bench, the Croatian coach watched his team claim a hard-fought win against Genoa (1-0). A success without fanfare, but enough to reignite the Old Lady's push for a top-four finish.

Adapting to the new style of play was a laborious process. The first half-hour resembled a long observation phase, marked by few clear chances. Morten Frendrup and Koopmeiners tried their luck without troubling Di Gregorio. Then, in the 26th minute, Kenan Yildiz produced a moment of genius. Delivered on the right side, the young Turk made a blistering run before beating the opposing goalkeeper with an unstoppable strike. A goal that made the difference.

In the second half, Juventus managed their lead without truly shining. Despite a few attempts from Vlahovic, the score remained unchanged. Tudor collects three valuable points, while Genoa remains stuck in mid-table.
