Seville: "We are very happy for Chidera Ejuke," Pimienta

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, Chidera Ejuke scored the only goal of the match during Sevilla FC's 1-0 victory against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena. The Nigerian player took advantage of a rare start due to Rubén Vargas's unavailability.

Originally a substitute, Chidera Ejuke was given a starting role because of Vargas's hip issues. He capitalized on this opportunity by scoring a decisive goal early in the second half. Coach García Pimienta was delighted with the performance of the 27-year-old winger, who now has 2 goals in La Liga after 17 matches this season.
