South African Benny McCarthy reveals a previous desire for tin Haag to stay at Manchester United for a long time!

The former striker of Blackburn Rovers and South Africa, Benny McCarthy, revealed a previous desire of former Manchester United coach Eric ten Haag to stay at Manchester United for up to ten full years, and pointed out to him that he is a professional, incredible and very serious person to work at all levels as well.

The current coach of the Kenya national team worked with the Dutchman as an assistant coach for two seasons in England, before the head coach was dismissed with his team last October of 2024.

"I was given an incredible opportunity to work with one of the biggest and best clubs in the world under the guidance of Erik ten Hag, I learned utmost professionalism because the manager I worked under was not just a disciplinarian, but he was the best and one of the most unbelievable professionals I've ever seen in the game" Benny McCarthy said.

"Extremely hard-working, very dedicated, very passionate, he planned on being the Manchester United coach for the next 10 years. That was his vision" Benni McCarthy described Eric Ten Hag.
