Southampton: Paul Onuachu doubtful against Tottenham

Southampton's Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu, is doubtful for the clash against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this Sunday, April 6, 2025.

Southampton will travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend to face Spurs in the 30th round of the top division. The Saints might be without one of their forwards, as coach Ivan Juric has revealed that Nigerian Paul Onuachu is suffering from an ankle injury sustained during the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace last Wednesday.

In that match, Onuachu scored the Saints' only goal before leaving the field in the 89th minute, replaced by Yukinari Sugawara. "Paul has an ankle issue. Today, he didn't train, but we'll see tomorrow," coach Juric stated during a press conference on Friday night.

This season, Paul Onuachu has scored four goals in 20 appearances in the league for Southampton, making him the club's top scorer.
