"Special Goalٍs Day" Eder Militao scores a historic goal against Espanyol!

Real Madrid added three more points to their La Liga title race and maintained their lead, with goals from Kylian Mbappé and Brazilian Eder Milita securing a crucial victory over Barcelona's Espanyol.

The experienced Brazilian defender fired a rocket kick in the 22nd minute from outside the penalty area, which was enough to find the net of the visiting team's goalkeeper.

Eder Militao scored his last goal for Real Madrid in September 2024, meaning it has been a full year since the Brazilian last scored for Real Madrid in all competitions.

Real Madrid is currently enjoying a remarkable upward trend under Spanish coach Xabi Alonso in all competitions, relying in most matches on a distinguished lineup of young players who have been given plenty of playing time under Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
