Stellenbosch will face a stubborn champion in the quarter-finals of this season'S CAFCC!

The Confederations Cup draw brought big news to Stellenbosch club after it pitted it against the champion of the last edition, Zamalek SC of Egypt, and the draw ceremony was held in the Qatari capital Doha on Thursday evening, February 20.

After losing twice in the first stages of the tournament, the group stage of Stade Malien and RS Berkane, the team achieved a big surprise after reaching the elimination rounds and presenting a distinctive performance that guarantees it this big crossing for the first time.

The team provided a double win in a row against the West African team Lunda Sul and with this back-and-forth victory, they achieved great qualification to face the Steve Barker Zamalek team in the next round of the Championship, the first leg will be on April 2 and the second Leg will be on April 9.
