Syli National: Friendly matches against Benin and Tunisia on the horizon

The Guinean Football Federation (Féguifoot) is planning two friendly matches against Benin and Tunisia during the FIFA window in June 2025, according to local media. These matches will allow the Syli National to fine-tune its preparation for upcoming challenges, notably the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The same sources report that national coach Michel Dussuyer might not lead the Syli National in the matches against the Cheetahs and the Carthage Eagles. The future of the French coach at the helm of the Guinean team is uncertain given his recent results. It should be noted that Dussuyer failed to qualify the team, including Guirassy and company, for the 2025 CAN in Morocco.
