Terem Moffi set for return, OGC Nice buzzing
Unavailable since the start of the season, Terem Moffi is ready to play again. The Nigerian international is now at the disposal of OGC Nice for the remainder of the season.
Terem Moffi and injuries are now a thing of the past. The Nigerian forward has regained fitness following his left knee ACL rupture, sustained in July 2024. This setback had prevented the 26-year-old from starting the season with the Eagles.
Eight months later, everything is back on track for Terem Moffi. "He has zero fragility, the knee is responding very well, everything is sorted. He's starting to feel the competitive spirit, and he's genuinely smiling. He will want to continue progressing and get back on the pitch," said Laurent Bessière, the performance director of the Nice club.
It's worth noting that the Nigerian striker has been training since February. His goal is to quickly return to the Ligue 1 fields. However, the technical staff of OGC Nice doesn't want to take any unnecessary risks with their offensive gem and plans to field him in mid-April for the last games of the season, which promise to be electrifying.
