With the appointment of Carlos Queiroz as the technical head of the Black Stars, we now know the ten head coaches leading the African teams competing in the tournament.

Among the lucky ten, six are homegrown: Pape Thiaw with Senegal, Mohammed Ouahbi with Morocco, Sabri Lamouchi with Tunisia, Bubista with the Blue Sharks, Emerse Faé with Ivory Coast, and Hossam Hassan with Egypt.

In addition to Queiroz, who is set for his fifth World Cup appearance, the foreign coaches guiding African national teams are Hugo Broos (South Africa), Vladimir Petkovic (Algeria), and Sebastien Desabre (DR Congo).
