The first half of the Group F clash between Tunisia and Sweden in the World Cup, ended with the Blågult holding a 2-1 advantage.

Midfielder Yasin Ayari, of Tunisian descent, opened the scoring for the Scandinavians in the 7th minute, before Alexander Isak doubled the lead in the 30th minute.

The only goal for the Carthage Eagles came from Omar Rekik in the 43rd minute, following an assist from Hannibal Mejbri.

In the other group match, the Netherlands and Japan played out a draw (2-2) after a lively second half.
