Thembinkosi Lorch scored his first league goal for Al-Ittihad in a 4-1 win over Al Shomooa in the Libyan Premier League.

The South Africa international signed for the Libyan heavyweights in a mega move from Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club in the January transfer window.

Lorch is already repaying the faith from Ittihad's hierarchy as he took his tally to two goals and one assist in four matches across all competitions.

The 18-time Libyan champions are nine points clear at the summit of the table, having picked up 31 points in 11 league outings.

Ittihad swing back to action with a top-of-the-table affair against second-placed Olympic Azzawiya on Thursday, 12 March.

Meanwhile, Stephane Aziz Ki netted his first-ever goal for Ittihad in the emphatic win, adding to a solitary assist he already had.

The Burkinabe, who has also played four games thus far, joined the Libyan side from Wydad in what was an ambitious transfer window for Ittihad.
