FK Banga Gargždai (Lithuanian top division) has officially announced the arrival of José Elo, an Equatoguinean central defender of Spanish origin. Free since his departure from AC Oulu (Finland) in January, he has signed a contract until December 31, 2025.

✍️ The Equatoguinean international central defender José Elo 🇬🇶 (24 years old) leaves AC Oulu 🇫🇮 (Veikkausliiga - Finnish top division) and joins FK Banga Gargzdai 🇱🇹 (A Lyga - Lithuanian top division).

At 24 years old and boasting an imposing frame (1.90m), José Elo will aim to establish himself in the rearguard of FK Banga. Before his stint in Veikkausliiga, he played in the lower Spanish divisions. With Oulu, he featured in 17 matches last season, scoring one goal. Internationally, he has four caps and one goal with Equatorial Guinea.
