This Malian talent is set to sign pro in Czechia
Samba Dia is about to take a decisive step in his career by signing his first professional contract. The young Malian attacking midfielder is set to join the ranks of Dynamo Ceske Budejovice in Czechia.
Trained at an academy in Nigeria, Samba Dia returned to Mali last year and joined the Black Stars of Badalabougou. His standout performances with this club have opened the doors to Europe for him, with trials at Stade de Reims in France and ultimately at Dynamo Ceske Budejovice.
According to local media, Samba Dia impressed the Czech club's management with his potential during his trials. A versatile attacking midfielder, the 19-year-old can also play as a central midfielder or "box-to-box" player. If his move to Dynamo Ceske Budejovice materializes, the young Malian talent will join his senior Mamadou Koné "Djarradjan," who joined the Czech club during the winter transfer window. He will also reunite with other young Malian players such as Issa Fomba and Sékou Djanbou (MFK Vyskov).
