Top U20 scorers in Europe: Two Africans stand out

The CIES Football Observatory published a revealing list on its X network: the top ten U20 scorers in Europe, evaluated based on their efficiency, or the number of goals scored every 90 minutes.

Leading the pack, Eli Junior Kroupi confirms his immense potential. The Franco-Ivorian striker, playing for FC Lorient, has scored 20 goals in 1,785 minutes across 29 matches. An impressive ratio of 1.07, making him the most prolific youngster in the ranking.

Another African talent also shines. Eighth on the list, Axel Kayombo, a Congolese right winger, has found the net 10 times in 1,940 minutes of play, with a ratio of 0.53.
