Transfer market: Fenerbahçe goes on the offensive for Yoane Wissa!

With just a few weeks before the summer transfer window opens, Yoane Wissa is setting off alarms. The star winger of the DR Congo Leopards and Brentford is the subject of intense interest from Fenerbahçe.

Indeed, according to the Turkish press, the Istanbul club, now led by José Mourinho, has submitted a 30 million euro offer to secure the services of the Congolese prodigy.

Mourinho has personally identified Wissa as a priority to strengthen his attacking options. With 15 goals this season in the prestigious Premier League, the London-born player is drawing attention, and discussions are expected between the two clubs in the coming days.

However, Brentford appears unwilling to easily part with their gem: “Brian Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa are our key players. They are not on the market,” asserted the Bees' coach, thus closing the door to a departure... for now.

Nevertheless, Wissa is attracting interest beyond Turkey. The English press reports that several major European clubs are closely monitoring his situation, evaluating the opportunity to recruit him.

After rejecting an offer from Nottingham Forest last January, Brentford may have a tough challenge this summer to keep their star striker.
