Transfer market: N'Golo Kanté heading back to Europe!
At 34 years old, the Franco-Malian maestro N'Golo Kanté could be returning to European football as early as next summer.
Indeed, according to the Turkish daily Fotomaç, Besiktas has made the Al-Ittihad midfielder their priority to bolster their midfield. The Istanbul club, seeking experience and solidity in the middle of the park, has reportedly already initiated discussions with the French international.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pushes to recruit N'Golo Kanté
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, recently appointed head of the Black Eagles, has reportedly personally spoken with the 2018 World Cup champion to convince him to join Istanbul.
After a season in Saudi Arabia, Kanté might be open to a return to Europe. However, it remains to be seen if the sporting and financial project offered by Besiktas will be attractive enough for the Bamako native.
While other European clubs may also position themselves on this matter in the coming months, the Kanté saga promises to be one of the hot topics of the next summer transfer window. Stay tuned…
