Transfer market: Tottenham targets Rayan Aït-Nouri
The Algerian international, Rayan Aït-Nouri, is currently a target for Tottenham in the summer transfer market. The Spurs' management has reportedly already initiated the necessary steps to recruit the Fennec next summer.
Rayan Aït-Nouri might slip away from Wolverhampton in the upcoming summer transfer window. Indeed, the Algerian defender is being monitored and followed by other Premier League clubs, namely West Ham, Liverpool, and Tottenham. According to reports, it is the Spurs who are in pole position to have the 23-year-old player in their ranks.
The London club's board has already made an offer of 35 million euros to the Wolves' management. Discussions around this deal are therefore ongoing between the two parties, even though there is a strong chance that Tottenham will succeed in the end. Aït-Nouri's market value is currently 36 million euros on Transfermarkt.
Another factor playing in Tottenham's favor regarding the Aït-Nouri deal is that the Algerian player is one year away from the end of his contract. It is therefore the right time for Wolverhampton to sell him, given his current form, or extend his contract to increase the stakes.
