Transfer window: AS Vita Club brings back a Leopard! (Official)

AS Vita Club continues to strengthen its squad for upcoming challenges. The prestigious Kinshasa team is set to officially announce the signing of Congolese winger Ephraim Lombo, who recently returned to the DRC after an unremarkable stint in Poland with Raków Częstochowa.

The 21-year-old, who had signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Polish club in January 2024, ended this journey by mutual agreement.

A former U20 international and a pure product of the Ujana Academy, Lombo made a name for himself during the FATSTHI Cup/UNIFFAC 2023 in Kinshasa, where he shone despite the DRC's defeat in the final against Gabon.

His speed, technique, and versatility on the wings (right or left) had already caught attention, but did not lead to a local transfer.

Negotiations with Vita Club are now well advanced, and barring any surprises, the young winger will sign in the coming days.

He will strengthen the ranks of the green and black club, already qualified for the playoffs, with the ambition to revive his career and establish himself in the elite of Congolese football.
