A slight historical edge for Etoile

Historically, Etoile du Sahel holds a slight advantage in head-to-head encounters in the league against Club Africain. In 139 top-flight meetings:

• Etoile have won 47 matches

• Club Africain have claimed victory 45 times

• 47 matches have ended in a draw

These figures highlight the near-perfect balance between the two Tunisian football giants and confirm the intensity of their rivalry that has spanned decades.

A Moroccan referee to officiate the match

The National Refereeing Directorate has announced the appointment of a Moroccan trio to oversee this prestigious fixture. The central referee will be Mustapha Kachaf, an international official since 2021. He will be supported by his compatriot Yassine Bousselm on VAR, ensuring strict adherence to the rules in case of controversy.
