Turkish Cup: Victor Osimhen stuns Fenerbahçe

The Turkish intercontinental derby lived up to all its promises. In the quarter-finals of the Turkish Cup, Galatasaray knocked out Fenerbahçe (2-1) in front of 50,000 opposing fans. Hero of the evening, Victor Osimhen scored a brace (10th, 27th pen.), setting his team on the path to victory. Sebastian Szymanski narrowed the gap just before the break, but Fener never managed to come back.

Tensions exploded at the end of the match. Three players were sent off in stoppage time and José Mourinho once again made headlines. Unable to stomach the defeat, he physically confronted Okan Buruk, the Galatasaray coach, by pinching his nose (!). Result: expulsion and likely heavy sanction for the Special One.

Fenerbahçe exits the Cup and sees its rival take the lead in the championship. As for Osimhen, he establishes himself as Mourinho's nightmare.
