Controversy is mounting after Real Madrid's elimination against Bayern Munich. This time, it's Álvaro Arbeloa who is openly taking aim at the officiating.

At the heart of the criticism: Eduardo Camavinga’s sending off late in the match. For Arbeloa, the decision is incomprehensible and completely unbalanced the contest:

You can't send off a player for something like that. The referee ruined a great match.

Despite the frustration, the Madrid coach emphasized the quality of his players’ performance, insisting they gave everything in a fiercely contested encounter. Out of the Champions League, Real Madrid must now refocus on La Liga, where they have no choice but to respond in the race for the title against FC Barcelona.
