FC Barcelona put on an offensive masterclass at Camp Nou, crushing Newcastle 7-2 in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash. After a 1-1 draw in England, the Catalans emphatically secured their qualification, taking the aggregate score to 8-3.

The match initially started at an even tempo. Raphinha and Marc Bernal answered Anthony Elanga’s brace, making it 2-2 before halftime. Just before the break, Lamine Yamal restored Barça’s lead from the penalty spot, putting them ahead 3-2.

In the second half, the Blaugrana completely took control. Fermín López got on the scoresheet, followed by a Robert Lewandowski double, and another goal from Raphinha sealed a resounding triumph, underscoring Barcelona’s dominance over both legs of this European tie.
