UEFA Champions League: Opta names the favorites for the crown!

Surprise: FC Barcelona leads the pack with a 21.1% chance of winning, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (19.3%) and Arsenal (15.6%).

Despite its impressive track record, Real Madrid only appears in fifth place (12.2%), behind Inter Milan (13.8%).

This ranking raises questions, as the Merengues often excel in this competition, frequently defying rational analysis.

Barça, Opta's top favorite

Thus, in the upcoming quarters, Barça is logically favored against Borussia Dortmund, just as PSG is against Aston Villa.

However, the duel between Arsenal and Real promises to be one of the most balanced: Opta gives the English 50.2% chance, compared to 48.8% for the Spaniards. An almost perfect balance.
