UEFA CL: Inter Milan strikes hard on Bayern's turf!
This Tuesday evening, at the Allianz Arena, Inter Milan pulled off a masterstroke by defeating Bayern Munich 2-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
Sharper in decisive areas, the Italians hold a strong position before the return leg at San Siro.
Right from the start, the Bavarians showed their intentions: to press high and attack relentlessly. Olise, very lively, came close to opening the score before setting up Kane, whose header did not trouble Sommer.
The young French winger, omnipresent, also sent Guerreiro through on goal, but the Portuguese faced an impeccable Sommer.
Inter sharper than Bayern!
At the half-hour mark, Olise once again found Kane after a slalom, but the Englishman's effort hit the post. Inter countered, and with a stunning play concluded by a right-footed finish from Lautaro Martinez after a backheel from Thuram, the Nerazzurri opened the scoring (0-1, 38th minute).
Müller equalized late in the match (85th minute), but Frattesi restored the visitors' lead three minutes later (88th minute).
This is a perfect heist and a golden victory for the blue and black army, who will approach the return leg with confidence.
